We have identified two areas where standard security systems fall short, remote control and notification, and early warning. We think a system is much more effective if it alerts you when an intruder enters your yard before they get to your house or office and alerts you wherever you are by SMS.

This earlier warning is considerably safer for the occupants of the home and gives you and your armed response company a much better chance of apprehending criminals. The remote control capabilities of the system allow you to operate the system, switch on lights, open or close gates or release pepper gas from anywhere in the world with cell phone coverage.

The outdoor detectors we use are wireless and will let you know where and when a person steps into the garden by its own keypad with audible notification for when you are at home. These can be stand alone, connected to an existing alarm or to our wireless SMS alarms.

The alarm panels we use are also wireless, and have built in SMS capability. Although the alarm is controlled by a keyring remote, the unit uses SMS’s to tell you when it is activated, what zones have gone off, if panic buttons have been pushed, when it is switched off, if the power goes out etc. and it can be armed, disarmed or you can check on its status by SMS. SMS’s can be sent to yourself, your neighbors, to a control room and anyone else you would like to be notified.

There is a lot more functionality to these systems, so please give us a call and we can show what they can do. But for now though we will let other home owners express their experience of the systems.
