A local business’s offices were burgled in the early hours of 5 March 2009

The Solveur Alarm system sent SMS’s to all the owners and a radio signal to the armed response as soon as the burglars stepped onto the property through a pedestrian gate which they smashed opened with a crowbar. SMS’s detailing exactly where the intruders were on the property were sent, eliminating any doubt it was a false alarm. Because of the reliability of the outdoor beams, the owners didn’t delay in phoning the armed response company to inform them that it was a positive.

Within 4 mins of the first alarm the owners received multiple sms from the indoor sensors now informing them the burglars had broken into the building. They were able to send an SMS command to trigger the pepper spray which chased the burglars out the building, saving numerous computers and screens and all-important business data. 

The armed response arrived as the suspects were leaving the property, leading to a chase which was unsuccessful.
